Part 2 Architectural Assistant

This is a great opportunity to join an industry leading family-owned private practice in Hertfordshire. Established for over 10 years they have worked in the Retail, Residential & Hotel sectors although their work is currently predominately in the Residential sector. 

They have an excellent reputation in the industry built from recommendations and repeat business and due to successful growth they expanded into new offices a few years ago. I’ve seen the offices which are in lovely town centre surroundings (plenty of places to have lunch and socialise) and the open plan office environment promotes a sociable and friendly culture with open communication at all levels, including with the Director of the business who is very hands on. 

Reporting to an experienced and reputable Senior Architectural Technician working closely with external consultants you will be get involved with producing designs, being able to draw technical drawings and detailed building regulation drawings when necessary, meeting project submissions and deadlines as well as dealing with projects on site and liaising with subcontractors and clients alike. 

This will be a key hire for the business. Although the business has been established for a number of years they are using this opportunity of growth to bring fresh new blood into the business, dynamic and motivated career driven people who want to progress with the business and have a successful career in Architecture. 

We are looking for professionals from either a private practice background or in-house design team and Ideally you will have experience of AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Sketch Up and Photoshop
