My Background
My recruitment career includes working with reputable recruitment agencies where I previously worked my way up into senior positions responsible for managing a small team of consultants. In September 2021 we had Josie and so my priorities drastically changed and It was time to practice what I preach to the industry and find myself an opportunity that I would be happy with. I set up JJ Construction Recruitment to give myself the work and life balance we all deserve, the flexibility working parents need especially ones juggling careers and children; and to give us as a family a better way of life.
Like most of us I'm sure I want to show Josie that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it you just have to work hard for it.
Who do we work with?
Client's - I have the privilidge of working with industry leading and award winning private and family-owned businesses to corporate PLC's. These businesses are all reputable stable companies who can offer excellent career opportunities with the added benefits of flexible or remote working opportunities and a work and life balance. I pride myself on only working with the best of the best and all my clients are dynamic, friendly and sociable businesses that I genuinly believe can offer exciting career opportunities
Professionals - Over the year's I've built up some great relationships with some of the industry's top talent. The majority of my contacts are referrals or recommendations and they aren't 'actively' on the wider market but would consider a suitable opportunity if I presented it to them.
Technical & Design Division
After successfuly establishing and growing my own Technical & Design desk within the housebuilding industry, working with leading Architectural Practices, in-house design teams and technical coordination and managment teams this is a particularly strong area of mine. I lived and breathed this area for six years building long-standing relationships so I have some great contacts with clients and candidates alike in this field.
I can usually always provide a shortlist of high quality candidates or a shortlist of live vacancies to people in the Technical & Design field.
Repeat business, recommendations & referrals
Recruitment is all about relationships. And as a small, family run business my business is built on this foundation. It's an extremely challenging and competitive career but equally rewarding when you get it right and become a preferred supplier to a business.
