Swing Gate School Quiz Night

On Friday evening I had the pleasure of attending Swing Gate School’s Quiz Night to help raise much needed funds for the school. It was a fun filled evening with a quiz (don’t ask me how many I got right), a silent auction, a live auction, a flow of drinks and great company. I decided to keep the family happy and came home with tickets to Willows Farm for Josie and dinner for two at The King’s Arms so that’s a rare date night sorted for Joel and I which we now look forward too. 

I first met Sara Marshall, the Chair of the Friends of Swing Gate School Committee back in July and after visiting the school, hearing about their plans and their fundraising efforts I said I would support the school in any way I can. Supporting people and businesses locally has always been a big thing for me in my personal and professional life so it gives me great pleasure to be working a bit more closely with such a wonderful local school.
