Berkhamsted CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NETWORKING EVENT

People were networking, the sun was shining, the drinks were flowing, the venue was stunning and the food was delicious. I pushed myself out my comfort zone and went to my first Networking Event. This one was arranged by Berkhamsted Chamber of Commerce hosted at The Lounge by Grazelife in Berkhamsted. 

We had a lovely drinks reception followed by a Traditional Graze Table and then some unofficial cocktails much later in the evening when things escalated a little. 

It was such a lovely evening networking with lots of other small businesses and good contacts in general. There were a few surprised faces when I told them I am a start-up business, it’s me myself and I and I literally started with £0. But it also made me realise how far I’ve come in a short space of time. Flying solo can be very isolating and lonely at times so I really enjoyed interacting with everyone on a business level having some adult conversations (if you know you know!) 

I’m looking forward to staying in contact with the friendly faces I met and hopefully this networking event is the first of many.
